With passion, dedication, and love for the art, we aim to create a space where every dancer feels seen, supported, and free to express their truest self. Through our shared journey, we inspire others to find strength and beauty in their own stories.

Meet the Team

At the heart of King Dance is a dynamic trio dedicated to inspiring excellence, creativity, and growth in every student. Led by accomplished dance educators Portia King and Paris King, alongside Emily King, our passionate Office Liaison and Director, the King Dance leadership team brings a wealth of experience, vision, and care to everything we do on stage, in the studio, and behind the scenes.

Dance Teacher

Paris King

Dance has been my life for as long as I can remember, and after years of training and performing in various styles, I’ve turned my focus to teaching. My classes are all about building confidence and technique while allowing each dancer to express themselves freely. I’m excited to work with students and help them unlock their full potential through movement.

On Hiatus

Portia King

From the first time I danced, I knew it was something I wanted to share with others. After years of experience on stage and in the studio, I decided to dedicate myself to teaching. I believe in combining strong technique with creative freedom, encouraging students to push themselves while having fun. My goal is to inspire my students to grow, take risks, and most importantly, enjoy the journey of learning through dance.

Office Liaison/Director

With a lifelong connection to dance in many forms, I’m proud to bring both my passion and organizational experience to my role as Office Liaison and Director at King Dance. Supporting our dancers and families is truly fulfilling, and I’m committed to helping create a positive, well-organized environment where everyone can thrive. It’s a joy to watch our dancers grow not only in their technique but also in their confidence and creativity.
